With over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the chemical industry, I bring a rare combination of deep technical knowledge, proven business acumen, and a strong network in Japan. My career spans global and regional leadership roles, including serving as President of a major multinational’s Japan operations, and I currently lead the Japan business for a European specialty chemicals distributor.

I have an extensive track record in driving growth, forging strategic partnerships, and guiding market entry and expansion in Japan for global companies. My expertise covers specialty chemicals, inks, pigments, coatings, and advanced materials across industries such as aerospace, automotive, rail, and electronics.

I offer a global perspective with hands-on experience in Asia-Pacific, North America, and Europe, and a deep understanding of Japan’s regulatory environment, customer landscape, and business culture. Based in Japan, I am available for a part-time board or advisory position. (Any board role would require prior approval from my current employer to ensure no potential conflict of interest.)
