Jukka Ahvonen

I am highly experienced procurement Executive and change leader with open and easy-to-approach personality. I enjoy working in multi-national and multi-cultural environment and getting all working in matrix towards the same goal. It´s typical for me to challenge the old ways of working and I always try to find place for improvement.

I got the spark for supporting companies to strive, when I was board member in one big Finnish solution provider for mining industry. With that spark I wanted to further improve my board skills by taking the HHJ-course and getting Certified Board Member status.

Throughout the 20 years of my procurement and 7 years of my manufacturing journey so far, I have been able to learn and lead all the aspects of both of those areas. My key competence areas can be funneled into five cornerstones:
1) Change and transition management; strategical and managerial skills combined with leadership talent
2) Leading multicultural teams and people ( also lived and worked 3 years in China)
3) Matrix way of working together with stakeholders
4) Procurement
5) Manufacturing
