Juha Moisio

Extensive international civilian and military experience in the defence business lines from protective structures to UAV%27s and mobility. A proven business developer, CEO and team leader in operational conditions, marketing and sales within the defence and aerospace industries.

Expertise include also strategic planning and execution, management, marketing and sales.

Since March of 2019 I have worked as the Director for Business Developement for Protolab Oy. The company specialises in mine-protected armoured personnel carriers (APC%27s). I also work part-time for Exote Oy which produces ultra-hard non-carsinogenic materials which are not based on rare earth metals especially for industrial usage in areas where abrasion and corrosion are the problem.

Previously for almost 16 years had the privilege to be part of a highly skilled team working on a niche product (the world%27s leading pneumatic launcher solution for zero point launch with a extensive envelope both in mass and exit velocities operating in extreme conditions) in use both by tactical RPA%27s/UAV%27s and target drones.

Extended experience in defence marketing, sales, product launch and product development of Force Protection products and concepts. Was part of the team that did much of the initial background, development work and the extensive testing for the Hesco Bastion Concertainer with a focus on the US to make it the success it became.

I have a 13 military background with service both in Finland and abroad for 4,5 years in three UN missions serving in various capacities in seven different HQ%27s.

I am graduate student at the Lappeenranta Univeristy of Technolgy (LUT) where I am studuying Knowledge Management and Leadership. I also have a BBA with a focus on marketing and sales as well as management. I have also completed the first and second phases of the Finnish Defence Forces warrant office training and by rank I am a Major (ret).
