Technology strategy and the end-to-end IT/OT stack, for companies whose product sits on physical assets. Twenty years in industrial automation, control systems and OT security in power generation and marine: built two R&D functions from scratch, led an engineering organisation of 60+ people, owned a EUR 20M embedded control-platform programme delivered under functional safety and marine classification, and took a new software-defined automation platform from development into first customer delivery on scope, schedule and budget. In parallel a full software and cloud track - low-latency trading systems for derivatives market makers, end-to-end IoT and AWS architectures for battery-technology and autonomous-vessel ventures, and an AI-based research and analytics platform I designed and built myself - plus public R&D funding (Business Finland, EU Horizon 2020) and industrial cyber regulation (IEC 62443, EU Cyber Resilience Act, NIS2). Best fit: industrial technology, energy, automation and industrial-software companies, and B2B software companies selling into industry, that want a board member or advisor able to challenge both the engineering roadmap and the cloud and AI plan rather than only one of them.
