I bring a rare combination to a board table: hands-on direct care experience with vulnerable populations, a psychology background that shapes how I read people and situations, and active research in AI fairness and ethics. I%27ve spent years in the room with families navigating hard circumstances, not just reading about them in reports. That gives me a grounded, practical perspective that balances out the more abstract, strategic conversations boards often have.

I%27m also someone who asks why a system works the way it does, and who it%27s leaving out. That instinct comes from my fairness research, but it applies just as directly to how an organization runs, who it serves, and who falls through the cracks.

Organizations that would benefit most from my expertise are ones working at the intersection of technology, ethics, and human services, particularly nonprofits serving children, families, or vulnerable populations, and any organization thinking seriously about how AI and data systems affect the people they serve.
