I AM IN THE BUSINESS OF ADDING VALUE TO THE COMPANIES I WORK WITH

I am highly experienced industrial executive with broad knowledge from global industrial businesses related to offshore, maritime, powerplants, electrical and fiber cables, rubber elastomeric components, foundries (iron, steel, bronze), component manufacturing and subcontracting.

I have gained vast CEO/managing director experience in publicly listed companies as well as in mid-size privately owned companies. My emphasis is on customers, empowering leadership, change/turnaround management, innovation and implementing new business innovation and thus creating added value to the companies.

My roots are in Finland; however, I have been working throughout my career in a global business environment with multinational teams and people from different cultural background. For example, during my relocation to Netherlands for seven years (2002-2009) I run a multisite operation with 1900 people and eight factories (In the Netherlands, China (2), Norway, Japan, India, UK, Spain).

I have gained large merger and integration experience. I have been accountable for turnaround and industrial footprint restructuring programs, setting up companies and operations in China and India, as well as building successful supply chain operations supporting the business.

The investment programs I have carried out have resulted in sustainable manufacturing efficiency and capacity increase. I have established commercial and strategical customer relations in offshore, maritime as well as large engineering companies. Additionally, I have broad experience in financial engineering and financing arrangements with the investors as well as banks.

I have very wide experience from different leadership and management positions, on various organization levels, starting from department manager up to the chairman of board of directors’ level.
