Currently working advisor / scouting for few M&A projects, particulary in the wide area of finance related companies, I have worked with PE companies for scouting and advisory projects several years and within many M&A prjects. I have law degree and MBA, worked for Nordic finance /financing companies (all possible types of consumer finance, unsecured finance, car finance, car/eqp leasing, fleet leasing, ATM operators….etc). Since 1994 worked for General Motors Finance companies in Finland and in Eastern Europe and in Sweden/Denmark. While I worked for GM, I lived more than ten years abroad (Hungary, Sweden/Denmark). I have 20+ years management and leadership experience in various CEO positions in international and global companies. As said also experienced a startup CEO / partner position.
I know and understand international finance, management and cultural issues very well. The companies I run have had staffing between 20-100 emplyees. The people I have worked with are from 20+ countries.
Since GM and my return to Finland, I became a entreprenure and partner in a finance related PE financed and owned entity in Finland. I speak fluently English and Swedish (and Finnish).
I am good advisor as I work well with all kind of people with all kind of background. I understand legal and managerial issues and can discuss these matters in such a manner that all understand. I have very large network of business people around the globe I can always talk and be engaged.
I can advise and discuss with a smallest entrepreneur and startup, all areas and various type of fintech startups and companies can be and are my typical type of companies I have been advising. PE partners, investment bankers and CFOs are the people I can (and have been) also engage easily and well.
As I am independent and ”impartial”, I would be interested to look for possibilities to engage more through your organisation.
