Jani Kaulo

I’m an angel investor and internationally recognized brand rights lawyer and founder of Kaulo & Partners, specializing in the management and protection of trademarks, design rights, copyrights, and domains. In advisor and board roles, I help leadership teams treat IP and brand as strategic business assets—reducing risk, strengthening competitive advantage, and enabling confident growth across markets and channels.

What makes me a strong advisor/board member is my ability to combine deep legal expertise with practical commercial judgment, and to translate complex brand-rights issues into clear decisions for executives. As Chair of the Finland–Southeast Asia Business Association, and through living and working in China and Vietnam, I also bring extensive Asia networks—especially in South East Asia—plus a robust understanding of Asian business and legal culture to support market entry, partnerships, and cross-border operations.
