Jacob Hallén

Through a very diversified career, I have acquired a broad experience in the digital field. Starting out in the development of farming automation, I have moved to internet services, library automation, administrative systems, IT security, DevOps and Machine Learning.
The roles I have held range from developer through project manager to CEO of a startup company.
The variety of roles make me well suited for analyzing problems from many perspectives, seeing systems rather than individual components and viewing the problem at hand from multiple facets, ranging from financial through social to technological.

I have also had a military career, though it was mostly in the distant past. I am an officer in the reserve with the Logistics Corps and I worked as an instructor for conscripts for several years. I also did 2 tours of duty with the Swedish UN peace keeping forces. In Cyprus I was a deputy rifle platoon commander and in Lebanon I was a staff officer with responsibility for battalion security.
