I advise boards under pressure to scale, modernize, or adopt AI — where the pain is obvious and the goal is clear, but the path forward isn%27t.

Boards bring me the discreet financial, technology, and compliance investigations others avoid — early-stage healthtech and fintech, not-for-profits, and billion-dollar public organizations. I value the hard questions, handled quietly and completely.

I know what a board should be seeing and which questions have to be asked, because I spent my career preparing and defending those answers. Where I add the most value: spotting management%27s blind spots before they become the board%27s problem.

I built my track record as a Big 4 Director at Deloitte and PwC, in enterprise risk, emerging technology adoption, and regulatory compliance. I%27ve served as acting risk and audit leader for organizations ranging from PE-backed startups to $10B healthcare providers, and I%27ve sat on the board of the Risso Foundation since 2015.

I%27ve led the initiatives boards care most about — many I framed from the initial proposition through to adoption, including cybersecurity transformation, regulatory compliance programs, and data governance under GDPR.

My focus is scaleups, PE-backed and later-stage private companies, and small- to mid-cap public boards, most recently in fintech, digital health, digital assets, and AI governance. I%27m looking for one or two engagements: a board seat, or an advisory role where the board needs the capability before it needs another director.

I don%27t just advise on AI governance — I run production AI agents in my own practice. Strong, responsive governance is built into every program I lead or support. Including my AI agents. Especially my AI agents.
