Iain Findlay CPP

I am a British executive, veteran, and board advisor operating at the intersection of infrastructure, security, technology, and impact. Over the past 25+ years, I have worked across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe in complex, high-risk environments—first in uniform, then delivering and advising on programmes spanning infrastructure, biosecurity, healthcare, and development finance.

I currently work with a global engineering firm on critical infrastructure and security-sensitive programmes, and I own and manage businesses and property portfolios that give me hands-on experience in governance, financing, procurement, and execution. I have served alongside government, military, donors, and founders, and I am comfortable operating where complexity, regulation, and consequence are high.

My value at board level is strategic oversight combined with practical delivery: strengthening governance, unlocking networks, supporting capital and partnerships, and helping organisations scale with discipline. I bring a global network across defence, engineering, healthcare, investment, and technology, alongside a strong UK base and deep regional ties in the Middle East and Africa.
