Harry Myo Lin

I bring over a decade of strategic leadership experience in Asia, working across Myanmar, South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia on peacebuilding, governance, comunication and human rights. With lived experience in Myanmar and a deep network across the region, I understand the cultural, political, and market dynamics that shape policy, business, and civil society in Asia.

My academic foundation includes an MBA from the UK and Maters in East Asian Economy and Society at the University of Vienna—giving me both practical and analytical insight into Asian development, trade, and diplomacy. I’ve managed multi-country programs, advised international organizations, businesses and built coalitions across diverse stakeholders—from local communities to regional bodies.

Organizations expanding into or operating within Asia—particularly in the fields of social impact, responsible business, or civic tech—would benefit from my regional expertise, risk analysis, and ability to navigate complex socio-political environments with cultural sensitivity and strategic foresight.

Fluent in English, Burmese, and Urdu with working knowledge of Hindi, Chinese, and German, I bring multilingual communication skills that help bridge diverse teams and build trust across cultures.

Now based in Vienna as a refugee and single father to a curious and proud daughter, I continue to draw strength from storytelling both as a published author and as an active learner of the diverse voices shaping our world.
