Especially in Food and Advance Materials (e.g. for Automotive & Mobility) with broad International experience

• I started to work as Researcher in Instituto Investigación Tecnologica (IIT) and as Associate Professor in Industrial Engineering School of Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICAI) during 5 years.

• Later, I started to work in two multinational companies (GEA and later BUHLER Group) where, along 14 years, I played different roles in the areas of Operations Management (Operations Director; Project Management of big production plants; Operational Excellence; Design, Installation and Automation of Fabrication Processes, etc.) and Sales.

• I was an Entrepreneur founding a company (VIAVITA) for education and leisure activities for seniors.

• Along my career I have extended my education in business and strategy in different programs and business schools (EMBA in IE, PADE in IESE).

• During the last 11 years as CEO in BUHLER Iberia, I have had relevant experiences in the areas of business restructuring and transformation, introduction in new markets, products and services, organizational development, etc.

• I strongly believe in the huge transformational power of the collaboration in networks, associations and ecosystems, as I have promoted in:

• In my personal life the things that I love are my wife, my two daughters, my friends, many sports but especially basketball, reading, history and culture in general, travel, know other cultures and people, help others (poor, old or disabled people).

• All of these things are part of my life, with the strong purpose of my faith to try to make a better world with humility.
