What makes me a good advisor or board member is the fact that I am specialized in both the design and the implementation of Corporate Compliance models, and Financial Crime Compliance, which are topics closely related to Corporate Governance issues. In fact, Compliance is key for Board Members, especially in those countries where the Criminal liability of the legal entities is in place.
Also, I think I have the qualities that companies look at for their board members, dedicated and committed, able to lead and influence others and straightforward and impartial, among others.
The companies that would benefit most from my experience will be energy companies, specifically, Oil& Gas and Renewable energy.
I am a Professional Member of the Instituto de Oficiales de Cumplimiento (IOC), one of the Spanish most important Compliance Associations and the International Compliance Association (ICA).
