My own focus is on product, commercial and regulatory matters, with particular expertise in data protection and AI. I help teams build legal and compliance considerations into their products and operations from the start — reducing risk, strengthening customer trust, and making it easier to move fast without creating problems that become harder to fix later.

Over the past few years, I%27ve advised startups across Europe, particularly in Portugal, Germany and Switzerland, helping teams navigate data governance, security, AI, privacy and European regulation while building and scaling their products.

Alongside my practice, I research and write about AI, data protection and frontier technologies, particularly the legal questions created when emerging technologies push beyond existing legal frameworks.
