BOARD BIOGRAPHY
Evgin Heath is a tenured not-for-profit board leader and IT
executive with experiences that span multiple industries,
including healthcare and financial services. She develops shortand long-term goals and strategies that are sustainable and
scalable while deploying state-of-the-art infrastructures,
networks, and platforms to bolster compliance and bottomline performance.
Unrelentingly dedicated to expanding her impact, she has
served on multiple not-for-profit boards, including the
Southern New England Turkish American Society as President,
the Federation of Turkish American Association as Vice
President, and the Unitarian Universalist Society of Stamford as
President.
Leading across fundraising, board governance, event
coordination, and stakeholder engagement Evgin has
delivered 10X fundraising growth, spurred connecting with top
government officials, and expanded community impact of her
organizations.
She brings her leadership and strategic nature to the table to
progress each operation%27s unique mission of value while
steering through change and growth.
A respected executive, Evgin is currently leading as CIO,
Director of IT, and HIPAA Security & Privacy Officer for
Blythedale Children’s Hospital. She was recruited to overhaul
the complete IT team and function with a mission to deliver
state-of-the-art infrastructure, network, and healthcare
analytics platforms as part of a large-scale IT platform
transformation.
During her tenure with Blythedale Children’s Hospital, Evgin
has established IT as a value-added resource and strategic
partner across the enterprise. Her impacts and deployments
include launching Cyber Security & Infrastructure Security
Agency (CISA) training; modernizing the telephone, wireless
services, and Wi-Fi infrastructures; introducing Identity
Services Engine (ISE) to prevent unauthorized users from
connecting to the network; and rolling out IT governance,
HIPAA, and disaster recovery policies and procedures.
As the Director of Enterprise IT, Global PMO for Related
Companies, Evgin spearheaded the formation of the PMO and
Center of Excellence from ground zero to support project
execution, mentor and develop project managers, and ensure a formalized approach across growing
enterprises.
Her early career experiences include Stamford Hospital Services, where she executed large-scale projects
from inception to post-production support, and Computer Sciences Corporation, where she successfully
salvaged a $15M project with 100% customer satisfaction. Prior experiences also include XL Capital, Global
Financial Services, Deutsche Bank, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
