I am a European (Flanders, Belgium), living already over 35 years in Tokyo.
This allows me to combine a deep knowledge of the Japanese business-culture with a European attitude towards success.
In the last 20 years I have successfully run a Business Development operation focusing on %22European SMEs that want to sell to large Japanese companies%22.
My strength lies in recognizing during a meeting if a Japanese company is really interested in a proposal or not and following up by focusing on the mutual benefits of an eventual deal.
From education I am an academic engineer. My education was in software engineering, but most of my recent activities were in the field of semiconductors and space technologies.
