My elevator pitch is based on the feedback that Chairs and clients have expressed. Below is just one which describes not only my contribution but the ongoing value I brought to the role as National Board Member.

I want to express my absolute gratitude to you Deanna for your upmost level of expertise, time, effort and knowledge you have given and shared over your directorship with us. You were exactly what we needed to help guide us through the re-branding and repositioning of the institute. You have certainly had a positive impact on us. Both from my perspective personally as the director leading the re-branding project, but also from the National Office and the guidance you have given to the staff. You have shaped the language we use and how we think, speak, write and communicate. I also especially appreciate the time you spent engaging with members (both calls and at events) to better understand our ‘customers’ and their feedback. We have learnt a lot from that, and I am mindful that we will need to continue in your footsteps to ensure we don’t drop the ball on those important connections and conversations with our valued members.
