I run a one-person technical advisory practice, Latent Logic. Five years at Amazon and five at Stripe, with a founding role on each team I joined: Amazon security intelligence, AWS Lambda diagnostics, Stripe Identity and Stripe Tax. Currently founding engineer at Feather.

Most engagements start with a technical assessment of a codebase and its infrastructure, ending in a written report the company keeps: architecture, delivery risk, security and compliance posture, and how hard it would be for someone new to take the system over. After that, whatever the report says is urgent - architecture review, hiring and technical screening, AI product strategy, or technical due diligence for an investor.

Seed to Series B. I work async and leave an artifact behind rather than billing hours of calls.
