Dan Gibbon-Walsh

I’ve spent the past 10 years working across the full lifecycle of food businesses, from grassroots and mission-driven initiatives to building and scaling a production company across operations, compliance, finance, and investment.

As part of a founding team, I’ve helped grow a company from early-stage into a structured business, including raising €2M+ in equity, working with subsidies, and developing new commercial lines. My focus has gradually shifted toward what actually enables scale: connecting strategy, capital, and execution.

I care deeply about the impact of food - not just as an idea, but in terms of what actually reaches consumers and changes behaviour. Because of that, I’m particularly motivated to support companies that are trying to build better food systems, while still facing the realities of margins, operations, and regulation.

Having seen many products and businesses succeed - and many more struggle - I bring a grounded perspective on where things tend to break, and how to avoid that. I also bring prior board experience, including within a quasi-government setting, which shaped how I think about governance and long-term impact.

As an advisor or board member, I’m most valuable to food, beverage, and impact-driven companies that are moving from early traction into scalable growth, and need to balance strong values with commercial and operational discipline.
