Claudia Pellegrini

I am a physician specialized in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine and a healthcare executive with more than 20 years of experience across public and private healthcare systems.

I currently serve as General Director and Medical Director of two rehabilitation clinics in Northern Italy, overseeing approximately 180 beds and leading strategy, governance, quality, accreditation, regulatory compliance, digital transformation and organizational development. Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in rehabilitation medicine, internal medicine and healthcare management in both public healthcare organizations and privately operated accredited healthcare providers.

My professional background spans Italy and the DACH region. I have worked in Italy and Germany in rehabilitation medicine, internal medicine, orthopaedics and neurology, and today lead healthcare organizations operating in highly regulated environments. As a native bilingual Italian and German speaker, I am comfortable operating in cross-border and multicultural settings.

In addition to executive leadership, I serve on governance and advisory bodies, including the Board of the Medical Association of Bolzano, where I act as Treasurer, a healthcare ethics committee, and healthcare-related non-profit organizations. These roles have strengthened my expertise in governance, financial oversight, compliance, risk management and strategic decision-making.

I am also a faculty member of the University of Ferrara, teaching in the Physiotherapy Degree Programme at the Bolzano campus, combining academic involvement with hands-on leadership and clinical practice.

My background combines clinical expertise with an Executive Master in Healthcare Management (EMMAS) from SDA Bocconi School of Management, providing a strong foundation in healthcare strategy, governance and organizational development.

As a Non-Executive Director or Advisor, I bring a unique combination of clinical insight, healthcare operations expertise and board-level governance experience.
