About
Board chairman and director in cleantech and industrial technology in Europe and the US since 2013. Chairman of Oxford Photovoltaics (UK, perovskite tandem solar) since 2018, board director since 2015; previously advisory board of DZ-4 through its sale to EnBW. Operating background: led a profitable €1bn hardware and software business at SMA Solar across 20 countries, built sales and commercial organisations from scratch, and helped entrepreneurs raise over €100M from VC, PE and family offices.
Today I work where energy systems, industrial manufacturing and AI meet: Executive in Residence at Aalto University, co-founder of Cleantech Bridge, an advisory firm serving PE and infrastructure investors in the energy transition, and a daily builder with AI tools rather than an observer of them.
Based in Helsinki since 2021. I support German, UK, Finnish and Nordic entrepreneurs — including university spin-offs — in commercialisation, internationalisation and capital raising, as board member, chairman or steering-group adviser.
