Cathrin Johansson

I bring hands-on CEO experience in building and advancing an early-stage company through critical value-creating milestones. At MedVasc, I have led the company from development towards clinical validation and international commercialization, including finalizing the product design, completing a GLP preclinical study, securing regulatory approval to initiate a Swedish clinical study, advancing the US FDA pathway and preparing for US market entry. I have also led multiple financing rounds, raising close to SEK 50 million in equity, complemented by significant non-dilutive funding.
As an advisor or board member, I combine this operational experience with strategic thinking, commercial perspective and a strong ability to connect people, opportunities and capital. I’m particularly relevant to medtech, life science and other innovation-driven companies navigating fundraising, commercialization, partnerships, regulatory milestones, international expansion or the transition from technology to scalable business.
