Carl Janglin

With 30 years of experience as a CEO and CFO, I have worked across family offices, multinationals, private equity, and venture capital. My career has spanned global hubs including Stockholm, Moscow, Helsinki, Hong Kong, London, Beijing, and the United States. I possess extensive investment expertise, having served as Head of a prominent family office with a diverse portfolio across all asset classes worldwide, adopting a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach to investments.

I have successfully built multiple businesses across various industries, transforming ideas into substantial enterprises. Additionally, I bring extensive experience as a board director and Chairman for diverse companies, including public entities, across multiple sectors. For eight years, I served on the Advisory Board of Runa Capital, a leading venture capital firm managing three funds with investments in Europe and the U.S. I am fluent in English, Swedish, and Russian, and hold dual citizenship in the U.S. and Sweden. My career includes significant contributions to taking companies public and extensive expertise in raising capital—both equity and debt—including issuing public bonds.

My broad background enables me to add value to both early-stage ventures and large, mature organizations. While my career has primarily focused on financial services and investments, I also have substantial experience in sectors such as real estate, manufacturing, the chemical industry, hospitality, education and technology.
Beginning my career as a CFO, I developed an early strong foundation in financial expertise, which over time has been complemented by my global experience working across continents.

My tenure as a CEO, in multiple companies, combined with involvement in numerous private equity-backed companies and leveraged buyouts, has equipped me with valuable skills in strategy and value creation. Most recently, as Group CEO of a high-profile, deeply distressed Nasdaq-listed real estate company, I demonstrated my expertise in complex restructuring.
