Twenty-five years spanning semiconductor device physics and clean energy technology strategy. Nine years at GlobalFoundries inside the IBM/Samsung Alliance drove 14nm-5nm FinFET and early GAA process pathfinding, SPICE model-hardware correlation, and DTCO tradeoffs — foundational technology underlying CPUs, GPUs, and custom silicon alike. I later led technology strategy in the CTO Office at Plug Power, spanning battery, grid, solar, wind, and nuclear, with direct experience in technology scouting, roadmap evaluation, and build-vs-partner decisions for organizations navigating fast-moving, capital-intensive technology cycles. Beyond my core execution experience, I%27ve built deep working fluency in adjacent and emerging technology domains — including architecture, device, process, and system-level developments at 2nm and beyond, quantum computing, silicon photonics and co-packaged optics, and digital and physical AI — through sustained technical study and industry engagement, which lets me evaluate roadmaps and partnership opportunities across the broader semiconductor and deep-tech landscape. Nine years as SRC industry liaison building and managing research partnerships across MIT, Stanford, Berkeley, and six other top-tier universities — plus postdoctoral research at POSTECH in South Korea — gave me a genuine track record of technology scouting and partnership-building across institutions and borders, recognized with the Mahboob Khan Outstanding Liaison Award twice. This combination of foundational semiconductor depth, clean energy strategy experience, broad emerging-tech fluency, and global technology-scouting capability is uncommon in a single advisor.
