Benjamin Olobo

Currently a Board Director of Uganda Railways Corporation (URC) and member of the Finance and Administration Committee, and Technical Committee. Serves as Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) – UK Representative for Uganda and to the ICE Africa Committee strategic insight into continual development and supporting members in Uganda. International Advisor on issues covering strategic trajectory and development pathway of Development in Uganda, Africa, Europe and Pacific Islands.

Extensive experience and exposure to operational issues on strategy and policy related aspects of sustainable economic development having been an International Technical Advisor with extensive experience in Climate Resilience projects, Green Financing, Sustainable Development with World Bank’s Climate Resilient Transport Projects.

Strategic linkages at all levels of Government Planning and Delivery in Uganda having worked for 8 years in Uganda National Roads Authority as Head Project Formulation and Chairman Contracts Committee overseeing delivery of developments programmes in excess of US$ 2 billion.
