Aurore Bui

I am the founder of Softweb, a social incubator based in Geneva and of Soft-Space, the first kids-friendly coworking space in Switzerland. ). I also act as an independant board member for commercial and non-for-profit organizations. My specialist areas include: Diversity & Inclusion, Social Impact & CSR, Agile and collaborative practices. Until 2009, I was working as an IT management and consultant, specialized in business intelligence and data management.

I write a chronicle for Bilan and act as an international speaker, expert and jury for organizations such as Startup Weekend, Zurich Business Forum, Ashoka or Euforia. In 2017, I have been selected among the 100 people that make Suisse Romande as part of the Forumdes100 movement. I am a former representative for UN Women Switzerland, in charge of promoting the Women Empowerment’s Principles towards companies.

I have a dual background as an engineer (ISEN, King’s College London) and as a non-profit organizations manager (University of Geneva, IHEID). I am a proud Female Board Pool Europe for the BeNeLux region and am trained as a Startup Board Academy through EPFL (Switzerland).

I live a mindful way of life and spends my free time travelling with my kids and paddling across lakes.
