Akhil Saklecha MD, MBA

Akhil is a physician-entrepreneur who has spent his career working to improve patient health outcomes from a variety of different vantage points. His experiences range from developing novel diagnostic testing - strategy - M&A(Chief Scientific Officer, Acute Care @Danaher), investing in innovative medical technologies and launching new companies (Managing Director @Cleveland Clinic and @Artiman Ventures), co-founding a VC-funded healthcare startup (CEO @Slive), and directly taking care of patients while running a physician service company (ER doc @Cleveland Clinic and Chair of Emergency Medicine @Aultman Hospital). He is currently advising large companies, startup entrepreneurs, and venture funds on topics including business strategy, fundraising, hiring key talent, customer adoption, M&A, and regulatory/reimbursement challenges.
