Adv. Mbongeni Mateta

I am a Board member (NED), Managing Director, Business Executive, Legal Practitioner with over 10 years of board experience and 18 years of executive level experience across the legal, government, financial, higher education, professional services, consulting, aviation, gaming security and investigation industries.

At the board level, I have sat on the boards of Trafalgar Properties as a Trustee, Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA), Shiyiwa Healthcare Services (Pty) Ltd. I am currently the Managing Director of VMVX Investments (Pty) Ltd and was previously the Senior Director: Legal Services at the Nelson Mandela University. My primary roles are day to day running of the company, business strategy, corporate governance, legal practitioner, leadership, GRC, client satisfaction, business development, networking, budgeting, financial management, business sustainability, stakeholder management, etc.

(e) Compliance Management certificate from the University of Cape Town (UCT) https://www.uct.ac.za;
(f) Commercial Court Aligned Mediation certificate from the UCT.

I am also a member of Legal Practice Council and Institute of Directors of Southern Africa.
