About
My name is Adam Kadlec and I am a practicing minimally invasive Urologist in a mid-sized community in Michigan. I am a young and energetic physician who practices real-world medicine and I have passions for technology, minimally invasive devices, and healthcare innovation/transformation.
I have a strong writing background, dating to an English major in college, and have written many types of content over the course of my career: academic articles, creative pieces, textbook chapters, and essays. In addition to writing, I have given numerous presentations at the local, regional, and national level, and along the way have developed a diverse portfolio of communication skills. My last essay was an article on how the medical innovation community needs to spread beyond the major centers and directly engage with “regular” clinicians, and is currently in the editorial process as an expert article for NEJM Catalyst.
I believe that innovative companies that connect talented and passionate individuals from all professional spheres (big market, small market, community, academic, entrepreneurs, experts) will be critical change agents over the next several years. I also believe that talent is everywhere, and although big innovation clusters in major centers and major markets, the best ideas can come from anywhere.
An ideal position for me would be one where I can work remotely on projects that have true substance and which are in line with my skills and passions as described above.
