Diana David is serving on the AmCham Board of Governors from 2015-2016, serving on the education strategy committee. She currently sits on the advisory board of NEST.vc, an incubator in Hong Kong, where she works to improve the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Hong Kong. She is the past elected Vice Chairman of the Executive Board of the Society of Publishers Asia, where she spearheaded the turnaround of the association by focusing on events and benefits for members, increasing engagement, renewals and profit.

Diana has more than fifteen years of international experience across the US, Europe and Asia-Pacific. She has worked to launch products or companies and turnaround business units at the Financial Times, the Pacific Group venture capital fund and her own Chinese luxury brand. Early in her career, she worked on high level strategy as a management consultant and began her career as an assistant to Dr. Henry Kissinger at Kissinger Associates in New York.

Diana has an MBA from Columbia University. She came to Asia in 1999 as a Luce Scholar and is a 2006 recipient of the Asia Society’s Asia 21 Young Leaders award.

She recently launched the Financial Times Non-Executive Directors Diploma in Asia. Developed with Pearson, this is the first global post-graduate course specifically focused on training independent non-executive directors in the skills necessary to make a positive impact on board effectiveness and governance.
