During my 30yrs in BT/O2 and Telefonica I was responsible for developing standads, assessing evaluating and promoting new technology ideas and designing end to end deployments into the live network. I worked through the practical side of deployments by organizing trials to both highlight the feasibility of roll out as well as to test the product itself. Often trials and assessments would be used to develop and underpin company technology strategy. As the CTO group merged closer to Madrid i left to work with a partner to start our own business where I raised capital, recruited a team, developed product and put it into trials in both UK and USA. I believe i have a strong sense of how to go about starting a business, exploiting markets and building ongoing revenue streams.
