I do growth hacking, brand management, design IPR, boardroom and public presentations. Originally a computer scientist, then broadened my interests and skills to AI and information visualization, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, UX & service design, cyber security & digital privacy, design strategy, brand identity creation, and leadership.

I was leading product and marketing design in 2019-2020 at Yousician, the music learning company that%27s on a mission to make musicality as common as literacy. Before that I was brand and product design director and led two consumer product lines at F-Secure Corporation in 2010-19. In 2012–13 I built the first F-Secure internal startup. In 1995–2010 I did UX concept design, usability engineering, brand design management, and held various design director roles at Nokia in Finland & US. In 2006–07 I was leading UX design for Nokia%27s Ovi internet services. In 2008–10 I was leading the Nokia MeeGo UX design team of 70 designers on 3 continents. I built the Nokia company UX strategy in %2702, %2704, and %2707.

I%27m UX design advisor to Morelex.com (personalized multichannel B2B2C retail marketing solution) and Dokk.fi (sharing economy mobility-as-a-service MaaS marketplace), and co-founder of the Wooden Boat Co-op Finland, Puuveneosuuskunta.fi. In 2014–16 I was advisor to the EuropeanPioneers startup accelerator in Berlin. In 2017-19 I was design advisor and board member in Lääkärihinta.fi and Vaana.fi, developing a healthcare and social services solution for municipalities.

I hold a Dr.Tech. in Interactive Digital Media and Comp.Sci. from Helsinki Uni. of Technology and several HCI patents. I%27m an author and podcaster in corporate-internal innovation and venturing.
