In 1996 graduated from the University Of Oulu with a major in economics and minor in statistics and business.
In 1996-1999 worked as a researcher (Health Economics) at the Department of Neurosurgery (Research Unit), University Hospital of Oulu. In 1999-2000 worked as a researcher (Health Economics) at the faculty of Economics, University of Oulu.
In years 2000-2002 worked in different companies (Oulutech Oy, Navicre Oy and Technopolis Oyj) as a head of program in different ICT programs concerning mobile technology and services.
In 2002-2004 as a researcher (Health Economics) at the Department of Neurosurgery, University hospital of Oulu.
In 2004-2006 as a Finance manager and vice president for Onesys Oy (a company of health care imaging systems).
From 2006-2010 worked as advisor and senior advisor for Business Development agency at the City of Oulu and since 2011 as a senior advisor and head of International Affairs at BusinessOulu/City of Oulu.
