Garry Parker

Garry is a Board level Public Affairs professional with a strong record of accomplishment in EU and international business lobbying for over 19 years in Brussels, the UK and Finland.
He is a trainer / policy mentor in the Finnish Parliament, since 2010, mentoring several senior MPs and staff, Finnish Ministries, and representative organisations for business. Garry has mentored executives from listed companies, business organisations, advisory and law firms in Finland and the UK about public affairs and trade & investment practice.
Garry is a jovial, yet results focused business policy generalist with strong communication and drafting skills. Described as an “übernetworker” in EU lobbying, he possesses a fluid intellectual ability, excellent influencing skills at all policy-making levels. He is at his best in international, multi-skilled and multi-lingual environments. Garry’s ‘coal-face’ experience of running small and micro-businesses adds a pinch of entrepreneurial flair in his delivery of better business practice with a sense of enjoyment, and he is often hard to say “no” to.
