Over twenty years of experience in the field of international development, regeneration, neighbourhood renewal, housing, social and economic policy development, health, and social inclusion. This experience has been attained operating at a senior level within Central and Local Government, Private and Third sector environments. Extremely successful in applying ‘new thinking’, to area based regeneration and supporting the role of communities in their areas.

Currently, as Board Member of a number of organisations, I have extensive experience of sharing responsibility for the governance and development of the strategies and policies of the respective organisations. These posts have allowed me to demonstrate the core attributes of impartiality, integrity and objectivity as Board Member, Trustee and Non Executive Director, I have also been an Advisor to two Government Departments in the UK and Advisor to a leading University in India.

Obtained a record of sound community leadership and strategic thinking and gained extensive experience of applying expertise in delivering positive benefits within organisations pursuing excellence. Having operated at a Board level for a number of years, bringing substantial experience of managing organisational politics and key stakeholder relationships, with the ability to see the bigger picture, think strategically, analyse situations and challenge in a constructive and positive way. An experienced ‘top table’ player and adviser – used to interacting with Board Members, Politicians, Regulatory Bodies and Government Agencies
