Several years ago I began to advise boards on CEO and executive succession. To satisfy my curiosity to understand the processes and dynamics of boards better, I completed a 12 day ICD governance certification program at the University of Toronto Rotman Schjool. Since then, I have been on three boards and recently completed a term as Chair of the Canadian MedicAlert Foundation. MedicAlert is a charity that operates a dynamic business of selling and supporting emergency personal health records.
My experiences have strengthened my abilities in facilitating group dynamics and mentoring CEO%27s and their teams. I take great pleasure in working with smart and engaged fellow directors to improve the effectiveness of management teams.
