Riku Granat

Riku is a unique combination of strategy, (digital) business, product/services and technology understanding with strong leadership skills to build and transform organizations to create and sell great products and services. He is a seasoned customer facing leader with 20+ years of experience in driving product excellence and sales both in domestic and international markets with start-ups as well with as world-wide multi-discipline organizations up to 2000 strong. He has repeatedly created and delivered market leading products and services while improving customer experience, productivity and employee engagement.

Currently Riku serves as Chief Commercial Officer in Varala Sports Institute and as Member or Chairman of Board in a few start-ups. Before joining Varala Riku worked as Senior Vice President of Mobility Sales & Consulting at Accenture where he had P&L responsibility for Mobility services in Nordics. Prior to moving Accenture Riku hold several Product Management & Development VP positions and directed Software Architecture Management in Nokia’s handset business. Before moving to Nokia Riku spent almost 10 years in Nokia Networks (now part of NSN) where he, for example, headed Product Management of Operating Support Systems (network and service management) and created a few new OSS products.
