Alessandro Benocci holds a JD from Luiss University of Rome and a PhD in Banking Law from University of Siena in association with LSE. He has also been admitted to the Italian Bar. He is author of 2 books and more than 70 articles in journals and edited books. He practises law and carries out research and teaching activities at the University of Siena in areas of Banking, Company and Insolvency Law, after having had research appointments from UCL, UC Berkeley and KCL. He is member of boards of directors in listed and not listed, financial and industrial, companies and institutions, and no-profit organizations as well. In particular, he is / has been board member of Banca Popolare dell’Etruria e del Lazio S.c.a.r.l., Unoaerre Italia S.p.A., Unoaerre Industries S.p.A., Realizzazioni e Bonifiche S.p.A., Ecomind S.r.l., Rondine NPO, International Journal of Law and Finance, and Rivista di Diritto della Banca e del Mercato Finanziario.
