Dan Amiram

I am a Professor of Accounting, Business Law and Taxation at Columbia University Graduate School of Business. I am an award-winning teacher and researcher with vast experience in the corporate world. I served and currently serve on the board of directors for various corporations including chairing audit committees. I served on the controller’s team for a multinational corporation, and worked for as a senior auditor in one of the big four. I teach courses within the MBA, executive MBA and Doctoral programs at Columbia Business school and routinely invited to present my work at leading institutions around the world. My research investigations focus on the effects of friction created by governance, accounting, information asymmetry, taxation and business law on debt and equity markets around the world. I regularly approached as an expert about these issues by large corporations, financial institutions and the media.
