Laura Tate

I have a strong strategic planning orientation, originating in my career formation as a land use planner, but honed in my current role as the Provincial Director (senior staff position) with an agency that gives grants to non-profit organizations. My current job includes a mandate to help smaller non-profits focused on mental health and substance use matters to hone their capacity. It also involves mentoring a talented team of young professionals. Another element I could bring as a prospective board member is to help link corporate organizations with community-based organizations (where this is appropriate to the corporation%27s mandate and service orientation).
