About
I%27m seeking to contribute at board level as a Non-Executive Director. Advisor & former Capital Markets Risk Director with 20+ years in credit, trading and structured finance across EMEA, CIS and the UK. I’ve led risk, trading and origination mandates at Raiffeisen, Commerzbank, Bank of Cyprus, Sberbank CIB, UBS Investment Bank and VTB Bank (Europe) SE, where I was Capital Markets / Fixed Income Risk Director with delegated authority up to €200m PFE and €600m settlement risk.
Recently I supported the ECB as Senior Manager on the Asset Quality Review of Deutsche Bank’s Leveraged DCM book (LBOs, HY, syndicated loans), and now act as an independent consultant and mentor at Culttech Accelerator, advising early-stage ventures on capital structure, risk and investor readiness. I also co-founded Silverblock, a fintech platform focused on DeFi/creative-economy financing, and bridge traditional credit discipline with Web3, tokenisation and AI-driven underwriting.
My background combines:
• Credit & Market Risk: 17+ years across HY, distressed, structured credit, derivatives, repo and securities financing; 1st and 2nd line of defence; 5,000+ credit memos and 250+ committee processes.
• Origination & Execution: Built franchises from scratch in four countries; grew trading counterparties from single digits to 40–50+; scaled a capital markets book from ~€100m to €1.35bn while maintaining disciplined risk.
• Venture & Web3: Diligenced 100+ startups (Pre-Seed to Series A) in fintech, AI, DeepTech and Web3, advising on funding strategy, token and credit structures and investor communication.
